Twinkly Pro WiFi 4G Router, POE outdoor use

Twinkly Pro 4G WiFi Router makes it easy to connect Ethernet Controllers to the Internet via 4G connectivity, even in areas not served by a wired data network or local WiFi.

This router is designed to meet the need for a data network connection device for outdoor use that is easy and safe to use and offers maximum flexibility in terms of connection modes in a variety of situations.

The device does not require an additional power supply as it is powered via PoE directly from the Ethernet Controller to which it is connected.

Equipped with two Ethernet cables, each 1.5 metres long, which can be used either to connect 1 or 2 Ethernet Controllers, or to connect a Twinkly Hub to which several Ethernet Controllers are connected.

The 4G WiFi Router has 3 different modes to connect a Twinkly Pro installation to the data network, also enabling remote control (Cloud Console):

1. ACCESS POINT ON 4G NETWORK (4G MODE): By inserting a nano-SIM inside the 4G Router, you can access the 4G mobile network of any operator. In this mode, the WiFi Router creates a WiFi access point to a new Internet-connected network that can be accessed with an iOS smartphone or tablet to configure the connected Twinkly Pro devices;
2. ACCESS POINT ON WIRED LOCAL NETWORK (WAN MODE): If a wired connection to a local network connected to the internet is available at the installation site, as an alternative to using the 4G connection, you can use the WAN port on the 4G Router to bring the network of connected Twinkly Pro devices online. In this mode, the WiFi Router 4G will create a WiFi access point to the local network to connect to for configuration and management of Twinkly Pro devices;
3. EXTENDING A LOCAL WIFI NETWORK (EXTENDER MODE): In this mode, you can use the 4G Router to connect your network of Twinkly devices to a local WiFi network that is connected to the internet (always as an alternative to a 4G connection). In this mode the 4G Router will extend the local WiFi network to which you will need to connect with an iOS mobile device to configure and manage your Twinkly Pro devices.

Included in the package is an adapter, for external use, which allows you to connect the Ethernet cable of the 4G WiFi Router to Ethernet Controllers or other network devices.
