Before purchasing a replacement transformer, please contact the lights manufacturer for required technical details.
To understand if the transformer is suitable for your string lights, please mind the following directions:
- Voltage (Volt): the two transformers must have the same voltage;
- AC or DC: the two transformers must have the same output voltage, AC (alternating current, indicated by the symbol ~) or DC (direct current, indicated by the symbol =);
- Wattage (Watt): the new transformer wattage must be equal to or higher than the wattage of the old transformer;
- Connector: the connector on the transformer must be compatible with the connector on the string lights cable;
- Controller: if the old transformer includes a push button to select the light effects and functions or to turn the timer on, it cannot be guaranteed that our transformer is suitable for replacing the old one.
